Small world, big world.

Someone recently told me that she thinks my world is about to become bigger. That she thinks my future and my calling will soon take me away from Small Town, Texas. 'Within six months to a year, I bet you're no longer in ST,T', she said.

That is both frightening and exciting to me.

God hasn't been all that forthcoming with the details of my future. I know that I am supposed to be right where I am for this moment, but I do not know what happens tomorrow, or ultimately, what I am working towards.

This is a new thing for me.

The last 24 months have been a whirlwind for me. An unbelievable journey I would have never in a million years considered. Events and circumstances that have both wrecked me and restored me...

I know that my journey is not complete. I know that I still have mountains to climb and deep valleys to endure. But, I also know a Mighty God. One who has promised to never leave me, nor forsake me.

Thankfully, I do not have to be strong and faithful, because I know the One who defines 'strength' and who is eternally 'faithful'.

It is not what I do, but Who I know.
